NIGHT RIDE.........

This Friday @ 6:30 pm we will depart Casa de Bubba for a 2 hour (or so) ride on the tranquil trails of Tosa. The pace will be just enough to stay warm and nobody will be left for dead. We will then return for a pot of chili and a few beers. This part of the evening will NOT be "no drop" as I plan to hold clinic on chili eating and beer drinking.

Vegans and vegetarians will have to eat expired Cliff bars...sorry.

I attempted to fly the colors (or lack there of)....at the Copper Harbor Fat Tire Festival. It was going pretty OK until about the last 6-7 miles. Then I proceeded to wreck my bike, myself........pretty much everything but my weekend.

YA KNOW.....I DON'T LOOK GOOD VERY OFTEN....

Aaaaand...I guess the top spot on the podium don't help much either.

Another 24-9 is in the books and I am again reminded why this is one of my very favorite races of the season. The opportunity to make mountain biking a true "team" sport is one that really dig. I have been a part of this team for the last 3 years or so in a few variations and have had a absolute blast every time. Even the year we had to stoop really low and grab this guy.

My little buddies and I managed to take the win in the 7 team mens vetran (35+) division and although we led from start to finish, we were in a battle the whole time against Stiff Kitty.. a team of locals who were using their "home course advantage" to hang tough all race (particularly after dark).

Personally....... I had about my best 24-9 to date with the exception of a night lap in which I went out with prescription glasses that fogged up almost instantly. The blind "white knuckle" ride through those rock gardens was interesting to say the least.

Safe to say....I prefer Bare knuckle to white knuckle any day.

And while there were many unfamiliar names on the guest list......the podium was loaded with familiar faces.

The Expo jr's totally rocked all race posting a 3rd OVERALL finish and no doubt catching the Grannygear folks off guard as was evidenced by their winning some Grannygear "rain slicker" or sumpthin'....BUNK!

"The 'Sta of the 'Sha" after 24 hours and 12 minutes straight of enjoying his favorite past time. He exacted revenge in a race that may have had him on the ropes a bit last year......but that was last year. ta-da.....

The Milwaukee performed like a champ (though with a squishy fork) all weekend long. I continue to receive very nice compliments on this bike. Folks comment on how cool it looks and then inevitably start asking questions I don't know the answer to.....Like.."What kinda of tubing do they use??".......Ummm....the steel kind. However, if anyone thinks they would rather have mine instead of buying their own.....remember.

I met a few cool people over the weekend as well. Troy and I had a nice chat in the transition tent. He is one of the guys behind the building of the super-cool Eau Claire race course and a fine chap at that. Then some younger dude called me out on the trail. I don't recall ever seeing him before, but he recognized me from reading this blog. When I asked him why he wasted his time with this "bubble gum for the brain" he said.....You got cool photos on there.

SCHWINN SIX............

I have invested 2 cans of paint and 2 brake cables in Julies vintage 1967 Varsity. Tires, brake pads and a little elbow grease courtesy of TRTS. A basket should finish it off nicely.

Julie and I missed WORS 3 in Wausau Sunday to hit up the Miller Lite Ride for the Arts. We were volunteer course marshals on the 50 mile route...(although Julie will be quick to point out that her computer read 55.3 miles at rides end) She exceeded her previous longest ride by well over 20 miles....she did use her road bike for the event, however because she'll be lucky to survive the crappy bike ride on this tank.
Make no mistake....This is a coffee shop bike all the way.

You'd think after a nice gesture like making her a bike she'd be my friend on Facebook??..Nope.

I WIN.....IOLA RACE REPORT..........

The Wisconsin Off Road Series kicked off the 2009 season last weekend at the Iola Bump & Jump, hosted in the wooded singletrack of the Iola Winter Sports Club outside Iola, WI.

Having done very little training over the winter, I had fairly modest expectations, but after a decent 15 mile warmup I started to feel a little better about my chances. The weather always cooperates at Iola and it remains one of my favorite venues.

I felt fairly relaxed at the start chute... just checking over the equipment and preparing myself for what was sure to be a tough couple hours after sizing up the competition.

Don said goooo...and I made a conscious effort not to get all snap-happy right off the line. I waited until the first descent in front of the start/finish chute before going to work.

I then settled into a familiar spot for me.... right at the end of the rooted "straight shot" between the pines towards the end of the lap, but quickly got antsy when I caught a glimpse of Rusty out of the corner of my eye.

A savvy tactician , that Rusty.....I quickly latched on as he made his way to one of the most strategic areas of the race course with me in tow... a sandy turn exiting some fast singletrack on the final 1/3 of the lap is where I really started picking off the field... catching one rider after another using Rusty's ho made "tanning-tinfoil-light maker thingy"to my advantage while finding my grove and eventually ending up with the overall victory among some very tough competition.

EASING OUT OF RETIREMENT??.............

Meg has been getting on the bike a bit more of late and says she plans to do some racing this season.

I pointed out to her that she appears to have a bit of a wanna -be thing going on and cited several examples backing up my observation.

"Don't forget to add a 29er to your list" she arrogantly added noting the her high school graduation present is sitting in her bedroom ready to roll.

So far, her mom is sticking to her guns on a "no ride till graduation" rule in the event she slacks....then it's a career in the carnival and the bike goes on the auction block.

We'll see who gets the last laugh.

DOCTORS ORDERS...............................

Sometimes I think my doctor has a weird way of practicing medicine.

On Saturday evening, I developed a swollen Parotid gland on the passenger side of my noggin'. Because nothing like this has ever happened to me before, I was justifiably a bit concerned.

I spent the day Sunday watching it swell up every time I ate something....only to subside after about 45 minutes....then to looking like I was starting to grow a 2nd head when I ate again.....and so on...repeat.

So...considering all the crap going around these days I figured I would go have it checked out this morning.

My doctor said I had a Parotid gland infection that blocked the gland from secreting saliva. By the time he was seeing me, the blockage had cleared on it's own and the swelling was down considerably.

He said I should go get the most sour candy I could find and eat a few pieces to really clear it and get everything flowing freely again.

After a rather embarrassing scene at Walgreen's because they were all out of Sour patch kids, I just settled for the Warheads.

I mean,,,What kind of pharmacy are they running anyway??......I'll bet they didn't run out of anyone else's medications like blood pressure pills or anti-depressants.

I THINK THE MEDICAL TERM IS BRUISED COCCYX..........

.......but my ass is broken.

After reading a few blogs, I thought to myself....How hard can snowboarding really be??. I figured if The Goat can do it...anyone can.

Well, since I did not have the time or extra cash to begin my snowboarding career in the mountains of Colorado...it was off to Sunburst. (I mean I own that place on a MTB..right??)

I/ it went down sumpthin' like this.....

-Headed to the bunny hill for some instruction and some basics...no sweat.

-Within 45 mins. or so I was able to get up said bunny hill via the tow rope and get back down stopping a few times as to not gain too much speed......cool.

-After about an hour and a hot cup of Joe, I decided I was ready to tackle the chair lift and one of the bigger runs....this also went well.
(I was advised not to try the chairlift my first time out)

-After 10 or a dozen runs I was doing pretty OK. About half the time getting off the chairlift upright...and the other half on my ass. I was making my way down the hill slowly switching back as to not get out of control.....going good.

-Then I got that "false confidence"....I could feel it building....a little faster....a little faster. We've all been there.... I remember saying to myself..."Relax and you might live to do this again"..but I was having a blast...that snowboarding is some fuuuuun stuff.

- Then it happened...WHAM!!!!...I crashed harder than my retirement accounts. Right on my tailbone....talk about peeing in my punch bowl. I was really having fun.

-Dizzy and nauseated I was flat on my back in the middle of the hill thinking...Well Bubba...that's about enough for tonight....I couldn't get up for about 10 minutes except to get myself off to the side of the hill and lay back down.

-Now I've bounced off my tailbone many times, but never like this. I've been in the hurt bag since Saturday and it does not seem like the pain is going to be gone anytime soon.

-The other night I took the opportunity to moon the wife and ask her if it was black and blue....(the kids found it both funny and disgusting.....Julie just found it disgusting.)

I can't wait to get out there again, but in the meantime most forms of exercise are a real chore. I have found that swimming laps in the pool is a pain-free workout that i will employ until I feel better.

I got this cat in the radar now.

While perusing Dano's blog, I clicked on the London Calling album cover as instructed to check out the Brand New Cadillac video. Then I scrolled down the other vids and stumbled on this and this.......
closed my eyes and it 1979 all over again (only without the hash and Heineken).
The Aragon ballroom in Chicago was the place. I was 16 or 17 years old. Still one of the best rock shows I've ever seen.

WHAT'S UP??.........

My blog vacation is over and I am once again ready to entertain..........(1 out of every 20 or so posts).

Not a whole lot happnen' lately.

-My annual "exercise in futility" of attempting to get smaller by lifting weights is under way.

-Been doing a little diving lately.....dumpster diving that is. I've found this dumpster that seems to produce an almost never ending supply of old bicycles. I've been able to give a few away to friends, keep a couple.....and one is so sweet that I am actually going to sell it for money...or keep it. (more on this when I get motivated to take some pics)

-In the last 2 months or so, we have put 1 dog and 1 cat to sleep and Jamie has moved out. It kinda sucks, but at the same time things have gotten quite "roomy" at Mi Casa de Esperanza (ask Carlos for translation)

-Barack Obama may very well turn out to be a decent president...time will tell, but I'll betcha he would have taken at least one of those stinky loafers right to the pie-hole.

Suppose that every day, 10 men go out for beer and the bill for all 10 comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this: The first 4 men (the poorest) would pay nothing. The fifth would pay $1. The sixth would pay $3. The seventh would pay $7. The eighth would pay $12. The ninth would pay $18. The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59. So, that' what they decided to do. The 10 men drank in the bar every day & seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. 'Since you are all such good customers, he said, 'I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20. Drinks for the 10 now cost just $80. The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first 4 men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other 6 men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?' They realized that $20 divided by 6 is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man & the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. CHEQUAMEGON 08.....................

The weekend was a blast again this year.
I have come to realize that unless you are a fastguy.....The 40 should be taken lightly....Coors lightly.

So, instead of taking it easy on Friday and hittin' the sack early so I could be up at the buttcrack of dawn to set my bike out towards the front......I decided to ride some sweet singletrack on Friday (not too hard of a ride...just hard enough to rip off one of my crank arms) Raw power is way over-rated.

I then decided a few good beers...followed by a few Coors lights....followed by a few more good beers was a better idea than a good nights sleep and setting out my bike.

Besides..this year I had a prefered start. They prefered I start in the back with the rest of the humps. So start in the back is what I did.

In case you fastguys didn't know......the back is the new front.

The hillarious shit you get to witness back there is worth the price of registration and then some.
Like the jackass that slid off the course face first into a patch of poison ivy. He deserves everything he gets the way he was riding. And then there's the guy that had a boombox strapped to his rear rack jammin' with the volume cranked just to name a few. I rode with him for 2 Kid Rock tunes and then moved on.

I rode the entire race with teammates John Timm and Mike Gietner. Everytime I crossed the redline I would back it off only to come around the next corner to see John and Mike softpedaling waiting for me to get back on. That was working just fine until those two stopped to visit our sponsor quick.....that's when I made my break only to get caught again on Firetower Hill. We kept our little blue train rollin' until the end with me jumping to the front whenever I saw a camera.

Speaking of trains....how about the three headed monster that was Adventure 212? Three of the top 8 spots is a pretty nice day's work.
I read that the best gameface in mountainbiking took the front and actually lead the race for a few miles. That would have made for a good photo for sure.

So there you have it.....good friends, good food, good fun.....and Coors light.

Jamie participated in her first barista "throw-down" competition type thing at Alterra on Humbolt tonight and Julie and I headed down to cheer her on Super-fan style. This was a "sexy latte" contest judged on appearance only.....I don't think any of them even were drank....drinked...or drunk.

SSSC..........RACE REPORT

Well...

Y'all may find it hard to believe, but I'm not the Wisconsin singlespeed state champion.

This guy came out of nowhere to take the win and kill my dreams. Jeez..I didn't see that one coming.

That's OK though....he's in the dream killin' business.

Russell was kind enough to ride with me from the "mush" position with me taking on "sled-dog" duties. He was also more than willing to point out every less than perfect line I would take with the kind encouragment one would expect from Russell.

This was going really well until about 1.5 miles left in the race when he dumped me for some chick, and finished the race with her.

The race and race course were really fun....... I'm waiting for the results to post in hopes that I wasn't DFL.

I'm not sure how to give proper photo credit, but this guys much better half took the above shot.

My Memorial Day weekend was really nice....

I did the WEMS race at New Fane on Saturday along with a bunch of other fine folks on a perfect day. I was right around mid-pack in the 6 hour solo race. I think if I do a few more 6 hr races, I might even be capable of a bit higher placing. The course was super-fun and the whole event was very well organized.
Props to Brittany and the Pedal Moraine crew.

I did a bunch of stuff on Sunday that was completely non-related to pedal-biking....or fun for that matter, but it had to be done....or so I was told.

The Memorial Day ride from my house was well attended. About 25 of us headed out on the Tosa trails for a few hours on another perfect day. The trails were a little greasy in spots from some rain the night prior, but all in all, they were pretty good. The Goat, however, was not in attendance. I heard from a reliable source he had a good excuse so I'll give him a pass. I think we missed him, even though I didn't hear anyone actually say so.

After the ride we cooked out and had a few drinks in my backyard. I think I will have another ride/cookout from my house a bit later this summer. I'm not sure of the day, so just mark your calenders every Saturday from now until mid October "ride from Bubbas in Tosa..with a question mark....I'll be in touch.

Now...on a technical note...

A friend of mine who shall remain nameless told me that if you need to use a "set back" seatpost, then you have too small of a frame.... basically calling me a dumbass...

to which I immediately called "BULLSHIT."...I'm no dumbass.

Another friend of mine who shall also remain nameless told me that the decision to use a setback seatpost has little or nothing to do with frame size and everything to do with the size of ones femurs, seat tube angle, and the proximity of ones hind parts over the bottom bracket. He went on to say, and I quote...." Listen you dumbass...You have been professionally fitted on your road bike.....measure the seat height and the distance from the tip of your saddle to the center of your bottom bracket. Set up all your bikes just like your road bike and you are golden"

So I did......(check out my high tech plumb-bob) and now the tip of my saddles are exactly 3 inches behind the center of the bottom bracket and they all measure exactly 31 inches from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the saddle for consistent seat height. So...depending on the seat tube angle...NOT the frame size....some of my bikes will use a straight post and some will use a set back post.....SO THERE!!

If this is common knowledge and you are reading this...I apologize and I owe you 41 seconds of your life back.....or in Randy's case...about an hour and a half.
If it is all a bunch of hogwash....then I guess I'm just a dumbass.

MEMORIAL DAY RIDE..........................

How 'bout a Memorial Day MTB ride on the fine trails of Wauwatosa???

The ride shall depart from Casa de Bubba at 11:00am and hit the woods for a few hour tour of all the places I've been hurting myself lately. We can lap past my place a few times in case anyone needs to knock off early. Fast folks, slow folks....We can break into 2 groups if necessary or the fast guys can wait for me at intersections and other strategic points. As you can see, I'm as flexible as a Russian gymnast.

If you are reading this, you are invited. ( you also need to find better things to do with your time)...

I understand the ride will also be the 3rd stage of The Tour de Goat IIII. I"m not quite sure what that means, but I've got the stones to find out.....Do you??

So......Sunday afternoon, I hit the same section of trail that was responsible for my face looking like I had just gone the distance with Muhammad Ali.
Just riding along with DaSug and I bounce of a tree hard enough to send me across the trail. Now my shoulder is all bruised and has been bothering me for a few days.....I'M A WRECK!!!!

Probably injuries equivelant to those that would keep Randy off his bike for 10 weeks or so.

But, I'm a man......So much of a man am I that next time I decide to hit up that particular trail, I will leave my bike at home and take my chainsaw.

TOOK A RIDE......

Ran into Erich-the-bald last night on the local trails. We took a ride and did some exploring and reconniscence. We put our heads together and made an ass out of ourselves....get it?

I hit up the trails again tonight with The artist formerly known as Coooop..
We also took a nice ride and did some exploring. Both nights I rode the pedal bike pictured above and recall thinking on a number of occasions that it would have been a much better choice than the Salsa for the muddy conditions in Rockford on Sunday.
I continue to learn all my lessons the hard way.
I also recall thinking about reading Spicyride's blog post about her local trails and the different names people give to certain parts of their trails. Everybody does it......I mean Sheboygan has The Equalizer, Crystal Ridge has Craters of the Moon, there is a section on the Rhinelander course called The Wart....and the list goes on.
On our local trails in Tosa we have areas like Harley Woods, Monkey Ridge, Homo Holler, and Ass-Water Creek. I also understand there is a piece of trail being labeled The Bubba Trail....I don't know the significance of the name, but it's a pretty nifty section.

I realize it's not quite the "chick-magnet" I had with the Caravan, but I guess I'll just have to get by on my charming personality and sexy pedal bikes for a while until I can afford that Toyota Yaris "babe-catcher" I've got my eye on.
If I play my cards right, I should be able to slide behind the wheel of the Yaris just as I'm easing into my mid-life crisis in a couple of years.

Yeah...I'm gonna miss that old van....

And speaking of things that have lasted waaayy longer than I ever thought they would......

Gusto is still hangin' in there some 13 months after we adopted him from the Humane Society. He has still got some issues for sure...bad hips and breath that could drop a charging rhino at 50 paces among other things.... but he's mellower than Barry White and a great dog and we will just continue to spoil the shit out of him for whatever time he has left.

BUBBA'S GETTIN' A NEW SET-A-WHEELS.....

Well folks.....The trusty 95 Dodge Caravan was threatening to nickle n' dime me into submission, so I thew up the white flag before it had the chance.

I should not complain though considering back in 95 when I bought it, Meg was not even 2 years old and was doing the bulk of her training in a stroller.....I never thought she would actually be legally driving it. It was a dependable car for a long time.

So.......With the help of Coooooop...I headed out lookin' for a ride that fits my personality. I had some criteria that needed to be met however....

1....I had to find something I could live in if I get myself into a predicament...and

2...I had to find something that was better on gas than my old GMC pick up.

I ended up compromising..... a few MPG's for this baby.

I'll post a few pics of the exterior after I pick it up tonight.

I am riding pretty consistantly 4-5 times a week, but would like to get in a few longer rides and would really welcome the opportunity to ride on some dirt soon. Afterall...I do fancy myself a mountain biker...A slow, old mountain biker, but a mountain biker none-the-less.

I am losing a few pounds, but it's a slow process....I blame Chipolte.

Some people can just blog about dropping weight and the pounds seem to melt off....not me.

Megan is talking about having her lip pierced now that she is getting her braces off next month. Her orthodontist had been advising against it while she has braces because apparently she could accidently wire her mouth shut or something.........Her orthodontist thinks that would be a problem...I pretended to agree.

And this one......Safe to say it's gonna take some creative parenting to keep her out of the teen lock-up because to quote her....."I'll do what I want".....Next time you see her, ask her how that attitude is working out for her.

On the scale at the "Y' tonight I weighed 228 lbs. This is the first time I have been under 230 in well over a decade. Just for comparison...last year at this time I was probably in the 243 range and my avg race weight in mid-summer last season was around 237.

Speaking of the "Y"...they were playing this in my pump class tonight.(try being a macho weightlifter with the vision of that guy dancing around in your head).....O.K. Baron..I know it's not 80's gay, but it sure is gay.

MAIDEN VOYAGE.......

I took a bunch of old bike stuff to the swap in Madison and wound up selling just about all of it. I came about a ten dollar bill short of making enough to score this Dos Niner frame. I bought it anyway.
First ride was tonight with Coop. We took a leisurely stroll through Tosa and rode around Pigsville for a bit and called it. The initial reviews are very positive. The suspension soaked up the potholes real nice, but this is no road bike boys and girls. We shall see how it handles the singletrack........sometime in late June by the looks of things.

I hit the road at 3:20 pm feeling like I just might have shaken the dreadmocus that's rendered me uncharacteristically slow and sluggish for the last 2 weeks, but I still feel the tail end. So, what I had hoped to be a good long ride wound up only being 20 miles total with a stop in the middle to pay a visit to my ma.
My ma had some re-grafting surgery on her neck and chest from a burn accident 3 years ago. She spent some time recovering at the burn unit at St. Mary's and then had to transition at Franciscan Woods in Brookfield because apparently, at 71, you don't bounce back quite as quickly from that kind of stuff .

At first, when they said she had to go to rehab.......she said.... no.....no.....no......but she went anyway. She will be going home Saturday, so it's all good.

Gone is the suspension fork, front shifter, a few chainrings, and derailer. The tires are lighter too I think. I pretty much rebuilt it all by myself too. I got by with a little help from my friends. This is monumental as those of you who know me well know that I am pretty inept when it comes to turnin' a wrench. I have yet to ride it though, so I have my fingers crossed.

I've been hitting the "Y" pretty hard for the last few months and am feeling pretty good and getting into pretty good shape.......but not the right shape for cycling. A little top heavy. I am getting in the right shape to thump your neighbor for playing lame music too loud at all hours of the night though....So just say the word.

HARLEY WOODS...TOSA TRAILS AND A DOG BLOG....

The last few days have provided some pretty scenic views of the local trails.

The people who ride here regularly know the area well, but rarely is it this nifty.

I try not to take for granted what is right outside my front door.

Julie and I took the "hell hound" with us for a little snowshoe fun.....He was diggin' it. I was wearing mine on the wrong feet. I don't think it makes much difference, but still....I'm a total rookie.

RAY'S INDOOR MTB PARK.....CLEVELAND, OH

A small group of local mofo's did a "quick turn and burn" to Cleveland this weekend.

We rode for about 5 hours Saturday and 5 hours Sunday.

They have a nice pump track too

This place is really cool...Well worth the trip.

HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY DIRECTION.............

Saturday was a pretty cool day.

11 of us rode the Tosa trails in absolute perfect conditions. Kyle, Rick Walls, Danny and Jeff Schneider, DaSug, Flat, Dave Dahlman, Meg, Mark Burkholtz, Glen ?, and myself. Since Glen and Mark found out about the ride from reading this lame excuse for a blog, I guess I should be a bit more responsible about updating it. 2.5hours in which DaSug lived up to his now seldom used nickname(crash) on a number of occasions. Not that he crashes any less...he just rides alot less lately. Here's a real shocker for ya'.....Flat calls and says he running a little late with (you guessed it)....a flat. It must have been his last tube because he then handed off the flatting duties to Danny. Danny can change 2 flats faster than I can change 1...and he did, so that was cool. After riding, we headed over to the new Alterra on Nort' ave. for post ride snacks and silly talk.....gooooood coffee...(but their MTB racing team is another story). Nyuk.

Later I headed down to the Rave to catch The Cult with Flat and some of his boys....Interesting cast of characters to say the least....especially Dave. If you ever send your Buick into a ditch near Hancock, Mi... you're in for a real treat. The Rave has never been one of my favorite places to see a show, but they seem to be cleaning the "dump" up a bit. If high-energy, load-ass, rock and roll is your thing.....you would have enjoyed it.....I did. Pretty accurate review here.

It's safe to say..their amps go to 11.

And yes...I know I said Hancock.

It was only 4 posts ago that I busted my Rig and I already have the replacement Ferrous. Either I need to update this blog more often or the Fisher folks work pretty quick. About 10 days from the time I took it in to the shop. Same color as my Poprad. It will probably be a while before I get it together though. This baby is undergoing and interesting overhaul and I robbed parts from the Rig to get the Ruffian put together.

I plan to ride the Tosa trails this Saturday morning at 9:30am from La Casa d e Bubba. If you are reading this.....you are invited.

Jerry's old ride is going to suit me just fine. It may not go real fast anymore, but it still looks good.

I think I'll stick to steel bikes for a while.......they seem to hold up better for me. This is also the first steel fork I've had on a 29er. It feels better than a 26in steel fork.

Also...the tread direction cop should take note that the tires are now properly mounted......I think.

CAN YOU SEE MY CRACK...............PART 3.........

The Milwaukee river trails have a way of wreckin' shit......usually me, but this time it was my bike. I didn't even notice it until tonight when I went for a quick ride with Coooop under the cover of darkness. This is the third Rig frame that I've cracked in the exact same place. I had intentions of selling this bike, but after spending lots of time on it the last few months, had it set up and fitting real nice and I started to think I would hang on to it.
Well....so much for that idea.
I think it might be time for the Fisher folks to put me on something that is going to stay in one piece. I know of a few folks that have been able to warranty busted Rigs with these....We'll see...
