BUSTED.........DISGUSTED.............AND CAN'T BE TRUSTED
My Sugar frame is cracked.....busted. No, not a little stress crack like my bitch's, but snapped in half on the top tube where it meets the shock mount. I know what you are thinking...NO WAY !!! Not a Sugar. However a little research has turned up a few folks who have experienced durability issues with this particular bike. Big Mark, Big Jim, Big Russell, Big Coop, Big Kenny D(I think) and now Little Bubba have all busted these at one time or another. Funny thing is I think all these guys and others really like these bikes when they can keep them in one piece.
So, I take the bike to the shop last night and who is in there buying a couple bikes for himself, his wife, and little kid??? Danny Gadzuric..center for the Milwaukee Bucks. For a guy that recently inked a 36 million dollar deal, he was scoring some pretty entry level equipment. I recommended the Sugar (pointing to my busted one) He chuckled.

One thing about owning an XL Sugar is they always look brand new. Must be great paint.

Well lets see I had 2 sugar one's break at the bb pivot and two sugar team issues break. One at the seat post/top tube and one at the top tube like yours, So I have broken a lot of fisher/trek junk. Man they have a real nice replacement policy though. You should drive it to madison this week and show all the big wigs the crap they ship out the doors of waterloo.
If you Cake breaks on the trail you are likely to have your Cake and eat it too.

yFriends don’t let Friends ride Trek and GF is just a painted Trek…and yes a Mr Bigg can be made for a big guy! It’s not a Mr little, it’s a “Mr Bigg”…..and if you need gears it available in a girly shifter version now. Also soon to come “Mr Slim” super-cross……proto-type under testing now. Screw Lemon it’s just a Trek too!
